When James says, “Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because the testing of your faith produces endurance,” I stopped and asked myself: What is endurance, and why must I endure? Endurance isn’t just surviving something difficult. Endurance is what carries you to the other side of what God allows you to face and when I thought about what Jesus Christ endured so that we could have life, I understood why we are called to wal
